We can certainly use your help during Summer Camp! Please contact us email@bluestonecamp.com if you would like to get involved. There several areas where we depend upon adult volunteer leadership and support. Below are the different Summer Volunteer positions:
Key Leader
This is the bible study leader. Our summer curriculum will emphasize a particular theme each day that ties in with an overall theme for the week. This summer’s theme is called “We Belong To God” based upon The Brief Statement of Faith, which is a part of the PC(USA) Book of Confessions.
Craft Leader
Campers enjoy working on a variety of Arts & Crafts projects in the mornings at camp. All the necessary materials and supplies will be on hand.
Camp Nurse
This is an important one. We need an RN or LPN to be in charge of distributing camper medications, and also to attend to minor injuries and symptoms.
Counselor
Preference will be given to former Bluestone summer staff.
Transportation
We need drivers to help transport Adventure Campers and day trips. If you happen to have a vehicle that can hold at least six others beside yourself, we could use that too!! We’ll pay for all your gas.
Kitchen/Grounds
Sure!! We can put you to work! You can help us prepare meals, or we’ll find a project. There’s always grass to mow!
Photo & Media Tech
We need someone who will help take pictures and develop daily slide shows or videos.
